Recipe Haven aims to correct confirmed errors fairly and transparently. We welcome specific, evidence-based feedback from readers.
How to request a correction
Email talhasebt11@gmail.com with the subject line Correction request. Please include:
- The URL of the affected page
- The exact sentence, ingredient, step, image, or link in question
- Why you believe it is wrong or misleading
- A reliable supporting source, when applicable
- Relevant details about your cooking test, if reporting a recipe problem
Our review process
We compare the report with the published page, available source material, editorial notes, and—when relevant—the recipe method. We may seek additional information before deciding whether a change is needed.
Types of updates
- Minor edits: Spelling, grammar, formatting, and other changes that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a notice.
- Recipe clarifications: Instructions, ingredient preparation notes, timing ranges, or substitutions may be clarified to reduce ambiguity.
- Material corrections: Changes to facts, quantities, temperatures, safety guidance, attribution, or conclusions may receive a correction or update note.
- Freshness updates: Broken links, outdated product references, and superseded guidance may be updated as part of routine maintenance.
- Removal: Content may be removed when it cannot be corrected responsibly, creates a rights concern, or no longer meets our standards.
What a correction note may include
When a correction materially changes the meaning or safe use of a page, we may identify what changed and the date of the update. We do not rewrite correction history to make an error appear never to have existed.
Disagreement and appeals
A correction request does not automatically require a change. If reliable evidence supports the existing content, we may leave it unchanged. You may send additional evidence for reconsideration.
