7 Fruit-Infused Water Recipes for Fresh Hydration
Craving your favorite fast-food drinks but want to make them at home? These easy copycat-style drink recipes let you recreate colorful lemonades, creamy shakes, frozen smoothies, iced coffees and refreshing coolers with simple ingredients.

These are inspired recipes rather than official restaurant formulas, so you can adjust the sweetness, ice and flavors to your taste. Most drinks are ready in 5–10 minutes.

1. Copycat Strawberry Lemonade
Ingredients: 1 cup lemonade, 2 tablespoons strawberry puree, ½ cup cold water and ice.
Method: Blend fresh or frozen strawberries into a smooth puree. Stir the puree, lemonade and water together, then pour over plenty of ice. Add a strawberry and lemon slice for garnish.
2. Peach Milkshake
Ingredients: 2 cups vanilla ice cream, ½ cup milk, 2 tablespoons peach syrup or puree and whipped cream.
Method: Blend ice cream, milk and peach puree until thick and smooth. Add a little more milk if needed. Pour into a chilled glass and top with whipped cream and a peach slice.
3. Mango Pineapple Smoothie
Ingredients: 1 cup frozen mango, 1 cup frozen pineapple, ½ cup orange juice and ½ cup ice.
Method: Add everything to a blender and blend until creamy. For a thinner smoothie, add more orange juice. Serve immediately while cold and thick.
4. Caramel Frappe
Ingredients: 1 cup chilled coffee, 1 cup ice, ½ cup milk, 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar and whipped cream.
Method: Blend coffee, ice, milk, caramel and sugar until smooth. Drizzle caramel inside the glass, pour in the frappe and finish with whipped cream and extra caramel.
5. Easy Iced Coffee
Ingredients: 1 cup strong brewed coffee, ½ cup milk, 1–2 teaspoons sugar or sweetener and ice.
Method: Cool the coffee completely. Fill a glass with ice, add coffee, milk and sweetener, then stir well. Use coffee ice cubes to prevent watering down.
6. Strawberry Coconut Refresher
Ingredients: ⅓ cup strawberry puree, ½ cup coconut water, ½ cup cold water, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and ice.
Method: Stir strawberry puree, coconut water, lemon juice and cold water in a glass. Add ice and gently mix. Adjust sweetness with syrup or honey.
7. Cherry Limeade
Ingredients: ¼ cup cherry syrup, ½ cup lime juice, ½ cup lemon-lime soda or sparkling water and ice.
Method: Add cherry syrup and lime juice to an ice-filled glass. Top with soda, stir gently and garnish with fresh cherries and a lime wheel.
8. Blue Coconut Cooler
Ingredients: ½ cup coconut water, ½ cup lemonade, 1 tablespoon blue fruit syrup, ice and lime slices.
Method: Mix coconut water and lemonade over ice. Slowly add the blue syrup for a bright color, then stir lightly. Add lime and serve immediately.
9. Iced Vanilla Latte
Ingredients: 1 cup chilled espresso or strong coffee, ½ cup milk, 1–2 tablespoons vanilla syrup and ice.
Method: Fill a glass with ice. Add milk and vanilla syrup, then pour coffee over the top. Stir before drinking. Use oat, almond or coconut milk if preferred.
10. Simple Matcha Latte
Ingredients: 1 teaspoon matcha powder, 2 tablespoons warm water, 1 cup cold milk, 1–2 teaspoons honey or syrup and ice.
Method: Whisk matcha with warm water until smooth and lump-free. Fill a glass with ice and milk, sweeten it, then pour the matcha over the top and stir.
11. Blue Citrus Slush
Ingredients: ½ cup lemon-lime soda, 1 tablespoon blue fruit syrup, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1½ cups ice.
Method: Blend ice, soda, syrup and lemon juice in short pulses until slushy. Do not overblend, or the drink may become watery. Serve with a straw and lemon wedge.
12. Piña Colada Freeze
Ingredients: 1 cup pineapple juice, ½ cup coconut cream, 1 cup frozen pineapple and 1 cup ice.
Method: Blend all ingredients until thick and creamy. Add a splash of pineapple juice if the blender needs help. Serve with pineapple and coconut garnish.
Tips for Better Copycat Drinks
- Use chilled ingredients so the ice lasts longer.
- Use frozen fruit for smoothies instead of adding too much ice.
- Start with less syrup and add more after tasting.
- Strong coffee gives iced coffee and frappes a better flavor.
- For café-style presentation, drizzle syrup inside the glass before pouring.
- Serve smoothies and frozen drinks immediately for the best texture.
Easy Customizations
Swap regular milk for oat, almond or coconut milk. Replace sugar with honey or a sugar-free syrup. Add fresh mint to lemonades, extra fruit to smoothies, or a pinch of salt to caramel coffee to make the flavor richer.
Storage
Fresh lemonades and coolers can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Smoothies, frappes and frozen drinks are best served immediately because they separate as they sit.
